Developed in collaboration with Sergison Bates Architects, Walter's Yard is a mixed-use courtyard workspace centred around a mature lime tree and a series of shared outdoor spaces.

The landscape strategy was informed by the existing character of the site, with particular emphasis placed on the retention and enhancement of the mature tree and its understory environment. A restrained material palette and shade-tolerant planting scheme create a coherent setting for the surrounding recording studios, workspaces and canteen.

Conceived as an external room, the courtyard provides opportunities for gathering, pause and everyday use, while introducing biodiversity and seasonal change into the heart of the development. The landscape complements the architectural language of the project, creating a robust yet intimate setting that strengthens the identity of the creative community it serves.
