Warren House Hotel

Hotel, LONDON
Studio Supernatural x Fletcher Crane Architects

Tourism and leisure

Warren House is an important Victorian Grade II–listed property set within the historic Coombe Estate, surrounded by six acres of beautifully landscaped gardens. The renowned Veitch family nursery expanded from its Devon origins to London in the mid-19th century, establishing a major branch on the Warren House site. The site’s light soil and rolling landscape provided the perfect conditions for cultivating exotic plants introduced by the Veitchs’ celebrated plant collectors, including William Lobb and Ernest Wilson. A collaboration between Studio Supernatural (at Stage 3) and Fletcher Crane Architects marks a new phase in its evolution; guided by thoughtful landscape design that respects the site’s heritage while promoting long-term sustainability. This vision takes inspiration from the gardens’ rich horticultural past, celebrating their historical significance while enhancing circulation, planting, and ecological resilience to ensure Warren House continues to thrive for generations to come.

This project is currently at public consultation. CGI visuals by Fletcher Crane Architects.
