Through RIBA Stages 0–3, Studio Supernatural developed a sensitive landscape strategy for the transformation of a former private garden into a multi-home residential setting. Responding to the semi-rural character of the site, the design carefully balances development with ecological sensitivity, retaining and strengthening the landscape qualities that define its setting.

Drawing on specialist expertise in tree-led and ecologically responsive landscapes, the proposal places mature trees and long-term landscape structure at the heart of the scheme. Existing trees informed the spatial organisation of the development, while strategic new planting enhances biodiversity, reinforces landscape character, and creates a strong sense of place for future residents.

The result is a carefully considered masterplan that transforms an established garden landscape into a sensitive residential environment, rooted in its context and designed for long-term resilience.
