The Ginnel Project x East Street Arts x Leeds West Indian Carnival x Leedes City Council

Studio Supernatural are part of The Ginnel Project team creating this pocket park, designed with the local community to compliment a wonderful mural painted by Rhian Kempadoo-Millar, celebrating the Leeds West Indian Carnival. The new garden features a bespoke bench, incorporating African Adinkra symbols as a place to sit, gather, reflect and celebrate the mural and the Carnival. Located at the end of a historic 1-mile long ginnel in Leeds, this garden marks the starting point for an important connecting pathway through Chapeltown in Leeds.

Currently under construction, and to be launched in January 2027!
